Angie Odom is an enterprise sales and business leader with more than 20 years of experience helping organizations navigate technology, operational change, and business growth. Her career spans enterprise software, physical security, IT services, energy, healthcare, and SaaS, where she has consistently led teams, built strategic partnerships, developed go-to-market strategies, and helped organizations solve complex business challenges.
Throughout her career, one principle has remained constant: the best solutions don’t begin with technology—they begin with understanding the problem that truly needs to be solved.
Growing up in Midland, Texas, with both her father and brother working in the energy industry, Angie developed an early appreciation for the realities of energy operations. Conversations around reliability, maintenance, operational continuity, and return on investment weren’t industry buzzwords—they were simply part of everyday life. That perspective continues to shape how she works with organizations today.
Over the course of her career, Angie has partnered with some of the most recognized organizations in the energy industry, including Exelon, Constellation, Phillips 66, ConocoPhillips, ExxonMobil, and Marathon. Her work has included enterprise software implementation, field services, project management, acquisition integration, workforce training, consulting, and organizational change management. Just as importantly, she has led teams through growth, coached sales professionals, and helped organizations align technology decisions with long-term business objectives.
Beyond energy, Angie has built a diverse career spanning healthcare, physical security, IT services, staffing, and SaaS. She has opened new markets, developed strategic partnerships, led high-performing national and global teams, implemented scalable sales processes, and built data-driven reporting frameworks that enable leaders to make confident, informed decisions.
Currently serving as Enterprise Sales Leader at Acre Security, Angie works with organizations across healthcare, enterprise, and government to address challenges involving identity, access control, visitor management, and operational resilience. Her leadership philosophy is rooted in curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning—believing that every conversation is an opportunity to learn, understand an organization’s mission, and uncover the problem behind the problem before recommending a solution.
Angie’s relationship with MinMax began long before joining its Advisory Board. During 2008–2009, while leading a SharePoint initiative with the City of Weatherford, she recognized that the City’s needs were growing beyond the original scope of the project. Rather than trying to force the existing solution to meet those expanding needs, she introduced City leadership to Dr. Singh and the MinMax team, believing they were uniquely positioned to help solve the broader operational challenges the City was beginning to face.
Those early conversations helped lay the foundation for what would become the MinMax eSMART platform and opened the door to long-standing partnerships with municipalities, electric cooperatives, generation and transmission organizations, and energy providers. Having been involved from those formative discussions, Angie brings a unique historical perspective to MinMax’s evolution and a deep appreciation for the company’s mission of helping utilities make smarter, data-driven decisions.
Today, Angie advises MinMax on leadership, revenue strategy, market expansion, customer engagement, partnerships, and go-to-market execution. She is known for connecting seemingly unrelated challenges, asking thoughtful questions, and helping organizations uncover opportunities that often aren’t obvious at the start of a conversation. Whether working with utilities, healthcare systems, manufacturers, government agencies, or enterprise organizations, Angie believes leadership begins with listening, every conversation is an opportunity to learn, and the most meaningful innovation happens when people, process, and technology come together to solve problems that matter.
