Fort Worth, Texas — October 2026 — MinMax Technologies proudly announces the successful conclusion of its 2026 eSMART User Conference, held October 13–15 at the Marriott Hotel & Golf Club at Champions Circle in Fort Worth, Texas. The biennial event welcomed more than 100 attendees, bringing together electric utility professionals, industry experts, technology partners, and eSMART users from across the United States for three days of education, collaboration, and networking.

The conference highlighted MinMax Technologies’ continued commitment to advancing utility asset management, inspection, maintenance, and regulatory compliance through innovative technology and meaningful collaboration with its growing user community.

A Strong Focus on Training and Professional Development

One of the conference’s major highlights was its comprehensive hands-on training program, which attracted more than 80 participants. These interactive sessions provided utility professionals with practical instruction, opportunities to explore new and existing eSMART capabilities, and guidance on maximizing the platform’s effectiveness within their organizations.

Throughout the three-day event, attendees participated in educational presentations, technical discussions, and industry-focused sessions covering topics such as asset inspections, facility ratings, regulatory compliance, maintenance management, and emerging technologies impacting electric utilities.

The conference also provided an opportunity for attendees to learn directly from fellow utility professionals through real-world applications, operational experiences, and best practices for utilizing eSMART across generation, transmission, and distribution operations.

    Collaboration That Drives Innovation

A cornerstone of the eSMART User Conference was its interactive User Forum, which encouraged open communication between MinMax Technologies and its utility customers.

During these discussions, attendees shared operational challenges, recommended software enhancements, exchanged ideas, and collaborated on opportunities to further improve the eSMART platform. The feedback gathered during these sessions continues to play an important role in shaping MinMax Technologies’ development priorities and future innovations.

“Our User Conference is one of the most valuable opportunities we have to connect directly with the people who use eSMART every day,” said Dr. Nand Singh, Chief Executive Officer of MinMax Technologies. “Bringing together more than 100 industry professionals creates an incredible environment for learning, collaboration, and innovation. The knowledge and feedback shared by our users help us continuously enhance eSMART and develop practical solutions that address the real-world challenges facing electric utilities.”

The conference also featured presentations from industry leaders, guest speakers, and MinMax alliance partners, who shared their expertise and introduced complementary technologies and services designed to support utility operations, infrastructure management, and long-term asset reliability.

Recognizing Excellence Within the eSMART Community

In addition to its educational programming, MinMax Technologies celebrated the accomplishments and contributions of outstanding members of its user community through its Hall of Fame.

The Hall of Fame recognizes individuals whose leadership, dedication, industry expertise, and continued involvement have made a meaningful impact on the eSMART community and contributed to the advancement of utility asset management practices.

Building Connections Beyond the Conference Room

While professional development remained a primary focus, the conference also emphasized the importance of building lasting relationships among utility professionals.

Attendees enjoyed a variety of networking opportunities, including an evening at BigShots Golf and a Texas-themed celebration at the Paddock Barn, complete with Texas barbecue, live music, and a mechanical bull.

These events provided a relaxed setting for attendees to strengthen existing relationships, establish new industry connections, and exchange ideas with professionals from utilities of varying sizes and operational backgrounds.

“The relationships we’ve built with our users are truly what make this conference so special,” said Kayla Cox, Chief Operating Officer of MinMax Technologies. “Seeing more than 100 people come together, including over 80 who participated in our hands-on training, was incredibly rewarding. We love creating an environment where our users can learn from one another, share their experiences, and build relationships that continue long after the conference ends. We are so appreciative of everyone who attended, presented, and contributed to making this year’s event such a success.”

    Looking Ahead to 2028

Following the conference, MinMax Technologies will make event photographs and presentations available through the eSMART User Forum website, allowing participants to revisit educational sessions, share information with their teams, and continue the conversations started during the event.

MinMax Technologies extends its sincere appreciation to all attendees, presenters, guest speakers, User Forum participants, and alliance partners whose time, expertise, and contributions helped make the 2026 eSMART User Conference a success.

Building on the momentum of this year’s event, MinMax Technologies looks forward to continued collaboration with its expanding user community and welcoming attendees back for the next eSMART User Conference in 2028.
