MinMax Technologies’ founder, Dr. Nand Singh, attended FIBERCON as an invited speaker on July 19th in Memphis Tennessee. FIBERCON, a WESCO seminar, was attended by several utilities from the southwestern states.
Dr. Singh spoke on Asset Management with a focus on increasing substation asset performance. He encouraged utilities to deploy a system by keeping the following three key points in mind:
- Build a comprehensive asset information page
- Develop and promote a set of meaningful processes
- Apply the latest information technology
Dr. Singh showcased MinMax SMART and its ability to perform asset management and inspection for any size utility. He used a case study of a small municipal utility where SMART saved a significant amount of man hours each month.
