Growing up in India with humble beginnings, he followed a path that led from IIT Bombay to the University of Cincinnati and ultimately to SMU, where he earned his doctorate in Engineering Management. The transition from a Hindi-medium school to some of the most rigorous engineering institutions in the world required grit, focus, and belief in what was possible.
These same qualities later shaped MinMax Technologies, which he founded in 2007 with a mission to help electric utilities improve asset performance and operational efficiency through innovative, practical software solutions.
Mentorship at the Heart of His Leadership
Anyone who knows Dr. Singh knows that mentorship is one of his defining traits. Whether teaching students at SMU, guiding MinMax engineers, or supporting customers through difficult technical challenges, he consistently invests in helping others succeed.

Together, they raised two daughters who went on to become Ivy League–educated physicians and now delight in the joy their grandchildren bring.
